Seismic Retrofit Project
The Seattle Public Library University Branch, one of the Library’s historic Carnegie buildings, is being renovated with structural improvements (a seismic retrofit) to ensure the safety of patrons and staff in case of an earthquake. The branch is temporarily closed through late 2026.
